Rachel Carey joined Measures for Justice in 2022 as a Donor Experience Manager on our growing Development team. Throughout her career she has managed multi-channel fundraising campaigns and events, built and scaled passive fundraising opportunities, and crafted communications to inspire and enable individuals to contribute meaningfully to nonprofit organizations.

Hailing from Casper, Wyoming, Rachel holds a B.A. in Marketing and a B.A. in French from Western Washington University. Prior to arriving in NYC, she worked as a collegiate admissions counselor for her alma mater, stewarding students and families by elevating their personal experiences and providing support. Learning about systemic issues through student voices, her passion and dedication to enacting large-scale systemic change was ignited.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys cooking (and eating!) great food, exploring the outdoors through hiking and scuba diving, and devouring a good story. Her friends, family and colleagues would describe her as tenacious, curious, and sincere.
