Commons Platform Feature Enhancements

Add the Commons toolkits to the dashboard: The Commons toolkits include guidance on how to navigate Commons, and how to engage with the Commons data to take action and drive meaningful change. Toolkits can be found by clicking on “How to Use Commons” in the navigation.

Make the button more discoverable: The download button allows users to download the data set that is behind the visual they are currently viewing.

Speed improvements: The updates made to the calculation layer will improve the speed at which measures load. Measures can load upon request from the database in under 10 seconds
Calculation Rules: The changes have updated the calculation output to only calculate missingness based on the time period selected. This will result in a more accurate representation of missingness.
Missingness Calculation: The missingness expression has been updated to simplify the way missingness is handled with each measure.

New Pop-Up Filter Modal: A streamlined, intuitive pop-up modal for filtering cases. This modal clearly delineates the filtering process, helping users to focus on selecting the types of cases they want to look at without confusion.
Improved Grouping and Comparability: Easily group cases by different attributes like age, race or offense type and compare trends to generate more complex insights.

Mobile Optimized Viewport and Layout Changes: The site layout has been optimized for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless viewing experience.
Horizontal Scroll on Data Visualizations: Data visualizations now support horizontal scrolling, making it easier to view and interact with complex charts on smaller screens.
Mobile-Friendly Navigation: Navigation menus have been redesigned for easier use on mobile devices.
Mobile-Friendly Tooltips: Tooltips are now optimized for touch interaction, providing a smoother and more informative mobile experience.

Collapsible Page Headers: Headers can now be collapsed to reduce on-screen clutter, allowing users to focus on the most relevant content without distraction.
Numerator and Denominator Labels in Data Visualization: Labels have been added to data visualizations, identifying the numerator and denominator for the measure selected.
